change or remove an item

You can change the quantity or size/color of an item at any time during your shopping experience. Simply go to “my bag” and chose “update quantity” or “edit item”. You can remove items under “my bag” as well. Forget to adjust your order before checkout? Don’t worry. You are able to edit your bag before placing your order during checkout. If you need to adjust your order after placing it, please call customer care at 1.800.322.1189. Please note that your order may begin processing immediately after order placement, and it may not be possible to change items on existing orders.



canceling an order

At JCPenney, we strive to process orders as fast as possible, but we understand there are times where you need to cancel your order. Visit the Order Status page to edit or cancel your order within 30 minutes of purchase*. Sign in or look up your order and select “Cancel Order” next to the order number. You may also call Customer Care at (800) 322-1189 for assistance, with consideration that call wait time may extend past the 30-minute cancellation window.

* Please note, if you placed a Same Day Pick Up In Store order, these cannot be canceled.

Custom blinds and shades and Made-to-Measure draperies:

Custom Blinds and Shades and Made-to-Measure Draperies orders must be cancelled by the next business day following the transaction to receive a refund.

Custom decorating:

Custom Decorating orders must be cancelled within 3 business days of the order date or amended order date to receive a refund of the deposit. Custom Decorating cannot be returned after the installation is complete.

Furniture (including mattresses):

Special Orders must be cancelled by the next business day following the transaction to receive a full refund of the deposit. Furniture Special Orders cannot be returned after delivery and acceptance.
